Ranting with Style
This afternoon, I watched Pinocchio on Disney Channel after receiving a good news I’ve been waiting for for some time. After so many years of not hearing this line, I heard it again…
“If your heart is in your dream, no request is too extreme.”
That line went along with the mood I have for today: Extremely hopeful and happy! And isn’t that line a fact, however idealistic and cliche it may seem? Furthermore, because of that line, I had a few muni-muni moments that lead me to the following:
- Happiness doesn’t come from material possesions…
…It comes from the intangible experiences we gain per moment of our lives, that can never be returned to again; for no single moment is repeated entirely the same.
- When you don’t get what you want…
…Most likely, it means there is something out there that is better for you, more suitable for your being.
- Happiness is a matter of choice…
…and sticking to it, despite whatever shit you are going through.
- Shit happens…
…So, deal with it! (Forrest Gump)
Cliche? Probably. Idealistic? Maybe. Factual? Absolutely.
